Possible Sequel

Posted by Alicia Cameron on Thursday, June 7, 2012,
So...six months later. And I finally have an update.

I'm thinking about doing a sequel.

Dun dun dun.

Yes, that's right. The dreaded sequel. I didn't want a sequel. But I can't seem to shake my characters. A year later they still want to tell a story, plus I miss them.

However, this is only a maybe. If I start writing this then find that it's dragging the story on too long, I won't finish it.

Anywho, that was a short blog post. I don't feel like writing in this blog much right now.

Update 2

Posted by Alicia Cameron on Wednesday, December 7, 2011,
So it's been quite a while since I posted in the blog. Mostly because there hasn't been a whole lot to tell you guys. I've started school and have been busy, and thus lost my writing inspiration. I'll write half-stories, promise to go back to them, and never do. I'm glad I got Dreamweaver finished before I went to school.

I'm sure Dreamweaver isn't perfected, either. There are probably spelling errors, grammatical errors, a few plot holes that I missed. Even so, I looked it over several times ...

Finished

Posted by Alicia on Friday, April 29, 2011,
I have completed the final rough draft of Dreamweaver. I am now currently working on editing, and putting the novel together in Booksmart, a self-publishing tool that I am using. I finished the rough draft on April 23rd, 2011.

Other than that there's not a whole lot new going on, just that I will be busy editing. I will keep you updated on how that goes. As of now I've finished editing chapters 1 and 2.

Chapter Eighteen

Posted by Alicia on Monday, March 7, 2011,
I've finished up to and including chapter eighteen, working on chapter nineteen as I'm writing this. There are 66,200 words not including what's in chapter nineteen so far, and around 130 pages. That means there's around 24,000 words left. I'm in the home stretch, and it's exciting.

My fellow aspiring author and my editor, Kati, (find her at www.narrationsofgaiacia.yolasite.com) has finished her first completed draft of her novel, Narrations of Gaiacia, book one, Vadim in the Windows. I'm goin...

Site Tour

Posted by Alicia on Saturday, February 19, 2011,
I'm going to give you guys a site tour today, but by now you've probably visited most of the pages. I'm just explaining them in more detail.

My home page features a picture of a possible cover idea for my novel, along with an icon which my editor, Kati, made using an avatar-creating program. There's also a brief explanation as to what my novel is about.

"About the Author" holds a photo of myself taken by Kati, along with a brief questionnaire as to my personal hobbies, likes, dislikes, and so o...

First Post

Posted by Alicia on Thursday, February 10, 2011,
Hey guys, this is my first Dreamweaver post. As of now, I'm working on chapter fourteen of Dreamweaver. I'm a little bit stuck, but hopefully I'll come out of it soon. I may skip ahead to chapter fifteen and finish fourteen later.

I changed the name to Dreamweaver, because I was getting paranoid that people were going to compare my Dreamcatcher (Max) to the real dream catchers, or say that I ripped off the name Dreamcatcher from either the real dream catchers or Stephen King. Hopefully, no on...
